Eni and the trade union organizations yesterday signed the Expansion Agreement introduced in 2019 by the Growth decree and extended with the 2021 Budget Law at the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies. ENI notes that the signing of the Expansion Agreement will allow generational turnover, with the introduction of new skills and new professions through the recruitment of 500 human resources from the labor market as early as 2021. “Eni has long been engaged in a path of profound transformation aimed at the energy transition that the company will bring to the complete decarbonisation of industrial processes and products. A strategic path in which the role of people will be increasingly fundamental ”, remarks a note from the Six-legged Dog group.
Eni is also committed to making an important investment for the training and retraining of its people. The training will involve about 20 thousand resources (for a total of about one million hours / year) and will accompany the company transformation process underway, enhancing professionalism
existing and developing new ones.
Lastly, the agreement provides for the voluntary participation in retirement support for a maximum number of 900 resources who will accrue, in the period of validity of the agreement, the requirement to access the pension within the following 60 months.
