Dhamma Energy, a wholly owned subsidiary of Eni active in the development of photovoltaic systems, has inaugurated the 87.5 MWp photovoltaic park in Athies-Samoussy, in the north of France. The Athies-Samoussy park, consisting of 5 fully operational photovoltaic plants, is the largest in the Hauts-de-France region and is one of the ten largest solar power plants in France. The plant will produce around 93 GWh per year, equivalent to the domestic consumption of 40,000 families. This park, the note reads, will contribute to increasing Eni’s renewable energy generation capacity, in line with the strategy for the total decarbonisation of products and processes by 2050.
