ROME. The fourth wave of the Covid emergency weighs on the euro like a boulder. The single currency in a pandemic has never been so bad. The World Health Organization has found that in the last two weeks infections have been decreasing globally (-4%), while in Europe they are increasing (+ 10%). An epidemiological fact which corresponds to a trend on the Community currency markets that has never been so negative in the crisis caused by the virus.
