BRUSSELS – Like many of the economic dossiers of our country, the great telecommunications game in Italy also passes through Brussels. The future of the new fiber network has its central hub in the European buildings.
And an apparently neutral go-ahead like the one granted last week by the Community Antitrust to the Open Fiber operation, in reality conceals the orientation of the EU Commission: the single network, at least under current conditions, cannot be done in Italy.
