European stock exchanges moved slightly above par at the start of this session characterized by the meeting of the Federal Reserve and a new rain of corporate quarterly reports.
Tonight the Fed will announce its monetary policy decision, which should not include any changes. It will be important, however, to follow Governor Jerome Powell’s press conference to get clues on the timing of the tapering and to get any indication regarding the high level of inflation and the growth of the economy.
Today’s session will also be enlivened by numerous quarterly reports, including Facebook, McDonald’s and Pfizer in the US.
