Green light for the 2020 budget of Acciaierie d’Italia holding Spa with Franco Bernabè, former CEO of Eni and Telecom, new president of the steel company. Tonight the go-ahead of the shareholders’ meeting which met on first call. The company’s 2020 financial statements were approved with a net profit of approximately € 4 million. Shareholders’ equity stands at € 1,828 million and financial payables are equal to zero. The shareholders’ meeting also appointed the new board of directors with a mandate until the approval of the financial statements for the year ending on 31 December 2022.
The appointments
At ArcelorMittal altitude, Lucia Morselli, Kristian Notebaert and Ondra Otradovec were nominated. In the Invitalia share, Franco Bernabè, Francesco Cao and Carlo Mapelli were appointed. The assembly then appointed the members of the board of statutory auditors who will remain in office until the approval of the financial statements for the year ending on 31 December 2023, in the persons of the chairman Franco Dalla Sega and the standing auditors Luigi Giancaspero and Roberto Spada. The board of Acciaierie d’Italia holding spa then met to appoint the president, Franco Bernabè, and the managing director Lucia Morselli. The board of directors also established the Related Parties Committee composed of the directors Carlo Mapelli and Ondra Otradovec and chaired by Franco Bernabè. The data refer to the holding, formerly Am Investco Italy, where Invitalia entered last April on behalf of the State with a payment of 400 million. The public partner holds 38 percent of the capital and 50 percent of the voting rights.
