Former Apple Design Director Jony Ive announces in-depth cooperation with Ferrari

by admin

In June 2019, Apple announced that the company’s chief design officer Jony Ive would leave the company and form its own independent design company LoveFrom. Since then, there has been little news about Jony Ive and LoveFrom. Last year, LoveFrom announced a partnership with Airbnb.

Today, Ferrari and Exor (the parent company that controls Ferrari) announced that they have reached an in-depth cooperation with LoveFrom that lasts for several years and is exploring “projects in the luxury business.”

The other details of this cooperation are still unclear, but it is only confirmed that Ferrari will cooperate with LoveFrom. The main core of this company is Jony Ive and his good friend Marc Newson.

In June of this year, there was a report that at least four employees in the Apple design team left Apple to join LoveFrom. These four employees are: Wan Is, Chris Wilson, Patch Kessler and Jeff Tiller. Currently, the heads of Apple’s industrial design team are Evans Hankey and Alan Dye.
