  • The numbers of Milan-Paris

A little over two months after the inauguration of the new high-speed Milan-Paris section with Trenitalia (FS Group) stop in Turin, many Italians have benefited from the new offer Red Arrow, which has brought with it a greater choice in terms of the number of trains, classes and services. Trainline, the independent European platform for booking train tickets, is the only one to sell all SNCF and Trenitalia trains. With about six and a half hours of travel – and intermediate stops in Turin, Modane, Chambery and Lyon – the train is increasingly becoming an alternative capable of favoring a true modal shift in transport.

Trainline has conducted a study on the number of train ticket bookings made on its app and website on the Paris-Milan route from 18 December 2021 to 5 February 2022. Average prices are calculated on all trains, routes, categories of tickets and advantage cards.
