The food group Giovanni Rana, which has promoted fresh pasta made in Italy in the world, relaunches on digital. «The love for the table also explodes on the web – reads a note -. Simultaneously with the launch of the limited edition “Red GoldIn fact, the e-commerce site Rana makes its debut shop.giovannirana.it, an online purchase platform that allows you to choose from over 100 products created by Pastificio Rana and different thematic boxes, designed for all Rana lovers, and to receive them comfortably at home. Deliveries will be made by the logistics network that the Rana group has created over the years to serve sales outlets in the commercial and catering sector.
The opportunity for the announcement of the ecommerce was given, as mentioned, by the presentation of the limited edition Oro Rosso: Braised with Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, Risotto with Truffles, Lobster, Tiramisu, four fillings enclosed in the fresh Rana pastry, for an unprecedented range of ravioli.
In this way, Rana relaunches on a market segment with high added value, consisting of the value of home-style conviality to which the search for new frontiers of taste is linked. All at a high level of service, in line with the Rana marketing strategy for years.
As recalled by the group’s headquarters, Pastificio Rana opens its doors in 1962 in San Giovanni Lupatoto (Verona). Founded by president Giovanni Rana, the company has been led for over 30 years by Gian Luca Rana, CEO, who led the Group to become a world leader in fresh, smooth and filled pasta. Today the Pastificio Rana has 8 factories (5 in Italy, 1 in Belgium and 2 in the USA) and employs 4 thousand people. Rana products are distributed in 66 countries. Since 2007 the company has also entered the world of catering with a “show cooking” format, where the dishes are freshly prepared in a large open kitchen. To date, the chain has 23 restaurants distributed throughout Italy, plus one in Berlin.
