From scooter to ghost kitchen, Helbiz grows in Italy

by admin

From scooters and electric scooters in sharing to food delivery, the step is short. The Italian-American Helbiz in Milan inaugurates Helbiz Kitchen, a ghost kitchen of about 2 thousand square meters with the aim of providing an integrated service on its platform.

The formula includes proprietary cooking and home delivery that will allow Milanese customers to order up to six different menus at the same time (pizza, hamburger, salad, poke, sushi and ice cream) in a single order, a single transaction, a single delivery.

With this new business line, Helbiz continues its growth plan with a particular focus on Italy, where thanks to this new investment it has created 80 new jobs in addition to the many already existing.

The roadmap foresees that this model will then be replicated in Washington DC, Los Angeles, Miami, Oklahoma City in the USA, Canada, Europe (Portugal, Spain, Greece, Serbia, France, Germany) and in other cities of Italy (Rome , Turin, Florence, Bologna, Naples, Bari).

The project was entrusted to Rossella Di Dio, CEO of Helbiz Kitchen, one of the founders of Helbiz and with a consolidated experience in business strategies, who will report to the CEO of the Helbiz group, Salvatore Palella. Di Dio will be joined by Paolo Scocco, responsible for the development of new businesses and direct management of the Helbiz Kitchen project, with more than 15 years of experience in the sector at an international level, in reality such as Cipriani New York where he held the position of general manager.
