End of session in great trouble for Piazza Affari. Despite the new records set by Wall Street at the start, the European stock exchanges are losing their luster with the car sector in particular. The Ftse Mib marks -1.24% at 24,155 points on the lows of the day.
Among the big names in Piazza Affari, Stellantis declined up to over -4%, which today disclosed the sales figures for the first quarter which see the new group born from the merger between FCA and PSA in the lead in Europe with a market share 23.6% for sales including passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.
CNH is also very bad (-3.13%). Enel continues its negative moment by scoring -1.5% in a session that saw the yield of the ten-year BTP update the maximum to over 7 months.
At the end of the Ftse Mib, Tenaris stands at over -8% with a cold reception from the market to the quarterly accounts. Sales after the accounts of the first quarter of 2021 also for Amplifon (-3.65% to 34.61 euros).
