This was not the case, but it must be considered that Termoli is a mechanical plant that produces traditional engines, which in a few years will suffer a big drop in production. The choice is therefore unexceptionable from an industrial and employment point of view, also considering that suppliers, obviously including those of our territory, will be able to have important advantages from having a domestic market. In addition – he stressed – Stellantis has announced its intention to accompany the energy transition of all Italian sites. Also, not all of Stellantis’ plan has been revealed yet. Therefore, it is not excluded that there will also be further opportunities for Mirafiori, where the doubling of the volumes of the 500 Bev was announced in recent days ».
