After the presentation of the guidelines for the renewal of supplementary contracts, one of the first agreements valid for the new season, 2022-2025, arrives in the food sector. It is signed by the Italian Wines Group, which has signed an agreement valid for the next four years with Fai, Flai and Uila, which changes both the economic and regulatory aspects upwards.

The increase in the premium

For the economic part, the parties increased the variable performance bonus for the industrial part by 235 euros, while for the agricultural part an increase in the premium of 15% was established. The institution of contractual welfare is also foreseen, giving workers the possibility to voluntarily access this system, giving priority to supplementary welfare, supplementary health care, parenting support services and assistance services for non self-sufficient elderly people. Furthermore, for workers who decide to convert part of the variable performance bonus into welfare, an additional economic value of up to 13% of the converted amount is envisaged, in addition to the value of the bonus.

The enhancement of training

The agreement strengthens the training chapter with the establishment of a joint technical commission on innovation and training and the recognition of 8 hours per year of the right to training. Trade union relations at both group and site level will be strengthened through various moments of participatory discussion, in order to involve workers and their representatives in all company processes. Furthermore, given the importance of the issue of sustainability, a greater commitment was also shared by the world of work on this front. In the context of parenthood and the reconciliation between the times of life and work, an additional day of paid leave was granted to the father on the occasion of the birth of the child, an additional day paid per year for the illness of the child up to the age of 10, two and a half hours of leave for specialist visits for male and female workers.
