Gregory Bongiorno is the new president of Sicindustria

Gregory Bongiorno, 46, from Castellammare del Golfo, is the new president of Sicindustria who takes the place of Alessandro Albanese.

Degree in Business Administration, entrepreneur in the sector of local public services, director of Agesp spa, a company with 300 employees; a long experience in the Confindustria world, he held the role of president of the young entrepreneurs group of Confindustria Trapani; president of Confindustria Trapani, he currently holds the position of national vice president of the trade association Confindustria Cisambiente, as well as a member of the credit and finance committee of Confindustria in Rome.

«Membership and participation of associated entrepreneurs will be the must that will inspire my mandate. I grew up as a man and as an entrepreneur in Confindustria, and it is only a convinced spirit of service that pushed me to accept this new challenge. Energy transition and circular economy, Recovery Fund, industrial areas, production districts, administrative simplification, technological innovation are the objectives we will have to aim for in our action ».

The new president will be joined by the vice presidents Ivo blandina, with vicarious functions, with responsibility for Transport, Logistics and Infrastructures; Antonio Siracusa, with responsibility for internal relations, organization and treasury management; Luigi Rizzolo, with responsibility for energy and energy transition.
