According to reports, the American car rental giant Hertz has placed an order for 100,000 Model 3s from Tesla.This is also the largest electric vehicle purchase transaction in history, and it will bring about $4.2 billion in revenue for Tesla.Hertz is the second largest car rental company in the United States, with approximately 770,000 vehicles. Hertz said: Hertz’s customers will be able to rent Tesla Model 3 in parts of the United States and Europe, and will further expand the scope of services before the end of the year.
Hertz said that from current orders, electric vehicles will account for more than 20% of the company’s global fleet.

The official website information shows,The rental price of Tesla Model 3 is $103.38 per day (about 650 yuan per day). Compared with the Ford Focus US$77.59/day and the Mazda 3’s US$79.84/day, the Tesla Model 3 has reached the price of a luxury car.
Currently, the Tesla Model 3 is priced at US$43,990 (approximately RMB 280,000) in the United States. Tesla CEO Musk said that the Model 3 sold to Hertz is not discounted.
