As early as August, Microsoft disclosed the minimum system requirements for running Windows 11. Due to the requirements of the Trusted Platform Module (TPM) version 2.0, many computers running Windows 10 have become ineligible to upgrade to Windows 11.If you can accept the risk of encountering compatibility issues or other issues, you can still use the following methods to install Windows 11 on a PC that does not meet the minimum Windows 11 system requirements.
How to install Windows 11 on a PC that does not meet the minimum system requirements:
1) Add the following registry value on your Windows 10 computer.
Registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMSetupMoSetup
名称: AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU
Type: REG_DWORD
Value: 1
Note: If you modify the registry incorrectly by using the registry editor or using other methods, serious problems may occur. These problems may require you to reinstall the operating system. We cannot guarantee that these problems will be resolved. The risk of modifying the registration form shall be borne by you.
2) Download the media creation tool to make Windows 11 bootable USB disk or DVD. You can download the Windows 11 media creation tool here: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=2156295
3) Launch the media you created in step 2 on your Windows 10 computer to upgrade.
4) Then you can choose:
Perform a full upgrade, which will preserve personal files (including drivers), applications, and Windows settings. This is the default experience and the experience used by the installation assistant.
Only keeping data will keep only personal files (including drivers), not apps and Windows settings.
The clean install will only install Windows 11 and will not retain any content from the Windows 10 installation.
