The growth rate of the asset management industry in Italy has declined markedly. In fact, in September, a total of 31 million entered the coffers, much less than the 9.3 billion, collected in August. Both bonds (-655 million) and flexible bonds (-365 million) returned to negative territory, but the worst result of all was marked by the monetary funds that closed the month with negative deposits of 1.9 billions. Since the beginning of the year, the assets of the funds amounted to 1,233 billion, of which almost 80% managed by foreign products, while in the same period the collection reached almost 51 billion. from January to the end of September, the category that travels with the highest balance is that of equities with a balance of 25 billion, while flexible ones are the rear with a deficit of 3.3 billion.

The societies

At the top of the ranking for net deposits is the Intesa Sanpaolo group which, thanks mainly to the result achieved through the institutional mandates held by Eurizon, collected a total of € 2.2 billion. The placement of open-end funds instead pushed the profit of Anima Holding to 385 million, but also that of Arca Sgr (248 million), of Bnp Paribas (254 million), of Schroders (298 million), of Deutsche Bank (348 million) and Ubs Asset Management (200 million). Finally, accounts in the red for Generali (-1.1 billion) due to flows on monetary funds within the insurance mandates under management. for Poste Italiane (-3.2 billion) and for Amundi (-486 million).
