In the afternoon and in the evening with Upb Educa, the conferences return to the presence

by admin

From Monday 8th the conferences organized by Upb Educa will be back in attendance, which have been proposed for almost thirty years as a moment of study open to the public, on the various issues addressed in the various annual courses: from history to art, from music to literature, from curiosity to well-being, from current events to the economy. A good sign of a return to something that resembles normality is represented, in particular, by the richness of the proposal, organized almost with the scanning and regularity of pre-pandemic calendars. In fact, if the activity of the popular University of Biella has never really stopped, I offend, even in the period of the lockdown and then in the moments of partial reopening of various online meetings, the number of appointments was rather limited, as well as the frequency with which were proposed.

Until May, the managers have drawn up an articulated program that includes meetings, in the afternoon and in the evening, in the offices of Biella and Cossato. The section called “The afternoon meeting” debuts tomorrow (Monday) at 4 pm at Palazzo Ferrero al Piazzo with Fulvio Conti who will talk about “Expressions of derision” and continues on Thursday 11 with the appointment “The drawer of lost things” in which Alberto Galazzo will present «The Gurgo Salice brothers, Pettinenghese musicians». Next week, again on Monday and Thursday, Marcello Vaudano is expected with «100 years of the Biellese magazine» and Daniela Lazzarin with «What is the Reiki energy».

Also for «The afternoon meeting», but in the Cossato headquarters (in via Martiri della Libertà 14), the program for the next few weeks includes Wednesday at 4 pm: the Galazzo conference on the Gurgo Salice brothers (on 10th); Graziana Bolengo with “If we are women: a picture of the family” (17); the Vaudano meeting in the «Rivista Biellese» (24th).

Tuesday is the day dedicated to “The meeting in the evening”, hosted again at Palazzo Ferrero at 9pm. Riccardo Quaglia will inaugurate the itinerary on Tuesday 9 with an in-depth study entitled “Dante al cinema: La Vita Nuova e la Commedia in the silent years “, while the following week, Tuesday 14, Fulvio Conti will speak on” Church and Papacy in the Divine Comedy “.
