Innovation: Luiss invests 2.5 million in Digital Magics capital for strategic partnership

Luiss will invest 2.5 million for the capital increase of Digital Magics. An operation that establishes a strategic partnership aimed at creating a leading pole in the Italian industrial innovation process.

The Board of Digital Magics, a certified business incubator listed on the EGM – Euronext Growth Milan market, organized and managed by Borsa Italiana, has approved the strategic partnership with Luiss, which provides for the subscription of a reserved capital increase of 2.5 euros million, through which the University will become a significant shareholder of Digital Magics.

Luiss, one of the main Italian academies with significant international recognition, has been a protagonist in the ecosystem of Italian innovation for years, also through the activities of its Alumni network, with the establishment of LA4G, a company supporting funding for startups connected to ‘university, and with “42 Roma Luiss”, a revolutionary programming school, free and open to all young people.

The partnership with Luiss will allow access to a universe of inestimable value initiatives for the Digital Magics industrial project, to which it will offer an extraordinary professional contribution to accompany them to success. Moreover, some initiatives already present in the Digital Magics portfolio will have a strategic partner in Luiss for their own development.

Furthermore, both the Luiss network and the industrial shareholders of DM share a strong interest in direct involvement in the development of innovation at a national level: Luiss and DM will be an active part in the creation of a system of relations involved in the industrial innovation process of the our country.
