Insider Exposure of Shandong Women’s “Millions of Deposits Changed to 1 Yuan” | Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank | Xuecheng Sub-branch

[EpochTimesJuly92021]Recently, Ms. Sun, a citizen of Zaozhuang, Shandong, “only 1 yuan left after depositing one million yuan in the bank” has attracted heated discussion. At present, the bank involved has been sentenced to millions of compensation and interest, and the relevant details of the case have also been exposed.

According to “Xiaoxiang Morning News”, Ms. Sun deposited 500,000 yuan (RMB, the same below) at the Hengtai branch of the former Shandong Zaozhuang Hengtai Rural Cooperative Bank on July 22, 2009. Yongfu North Branch Office of Xuecheng Sub-branch of Thai Rural Cooperative Bank deposited 500,000 yuan.

Hengtai Rural Cooperative Bank was restructured in 2014 and is now Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank. In the same year, Ms. Sun took two passbooks to the bank to withdraw money. Unexpectedly, the bank system balance showed that there was only 1 yuan in the two passbooks.

For this reason, Ms. Sun took the Xuecheng branch of Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank to court. The bank claimed that Ms. Sun had forged the passbook, which caused Ms. Sun to be detained for a while, but after the police investigation, there was no evidence that Ms. Sun was involved in forging the passbook.

According to the judgment of the case, Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank stated that Ms. Sun stated that it was deposited in 2009 and intends to withdraw it in 2014, and that it did not manage the funds for nearly 6 years, which is also unreasonable.

The report quoted Ms. Sun’s attorney Liu Huanping as revealing that this incident actually involved a major criminal case: Ms. Sun’s two passbooks were replaced by a female employee of another bank, Tian, who used Ms. Sun’s name on the day when Ms. Sun made the deposit. Two passbooks containing one dollar were drawn out, and the forged deposit records were glued to the two passbooks and handed over to Ms. Sun. Ms. Sun’s real deposit was withdrawn by Tian several times.

The lawyer revealed that Tian was a female employee of another large state-owned bank in Zaozhuang. In addition to pretending to lead Ms. Sun’s passbook account, she also used similar methods to fraudulently claim funds from multiple savings accounts.

According to incomplete statistics, from 2008 to 2010, there were 10 victims, including Ms. Sun, and the amount involved exceeded 6 million. These fraudulent depositors successively took the bank to court in 2014, demanding that the bank pay deposits and interest.

On April 12, 2021, the court judged that Xuecheng Branch of Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank paid Ms. Sun a deposit of 1 million yuan and interest. On July 8, the Shandong Rural Credit Cooperative Association reported that the Xuecheng branch of Zaozhuang Rural Commercial Bank had transferred compensation and interest to designated accounts.

Tian was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months in prison on suspicion of forging financial documents.

A mainland netizen said, “Although they don’t understand bank operations, the deposit records are so easy to be forged? And it’s another bank employee? How did you get it? Isn’t it basically audited? The bank’s credit rating is low to a negative value!”

“There is a problem with this banking system. With such a big loophole, since it has manipulated so many savings users, it is impossible for one person to do it. You should check this bank carefully to see how many insiders manipulated it.” “Tian must be involved. Insiders of this bank colluded to commit crimes.”

Some netizens said, “During the process, the bank also bit out that the depositor’s materials were falsified, and the court found that the 1 million deposit was real.” “With two one-dollar passbooks, Ms. Sun’s two one-million passbooks were exchanged. Theft from another bank. This was a planned, organized theft by a gang, and it happened more than once.”
