IPhone 13 foundries are aggressively recruiting labor and the competition is fierce-Apple iPhone

by admin

As often happens with Apple’s iPhone manufacturers, Foxconn and other companies are now seasonally recruiting additional employees, but the current state of the labor market means they must increase their salaries.Since Apple generally releases new iPhone models in September each year, assemblers and component manufacturers often recruit a large number of employees around July and August. For example, Foxconn recruited a lot of people for the iPhone 11 in July 2019, and later spent a lot of money on the iPhone 12 in 2020.

Now according to the South China Morning Post, Foxconn, Luxshare Precision and Lens Technology have all started recruitment activities – and increased incentives. Interested labor is shrinking, so competition for employees is intensifying.

According to reports, Foxconn is now offering a bonus of RMB 10,200 to new employees who have worked for at least 90 days. This is 200 yuan more than the bonus provided by Foxconn at the end of July 2021. About 9,500 yuan is owned by the employees, and the rest is paid to the introducer.

At the same time, another foundry, Lens Technology, also increased its bonus. In February, it provided about 5,000 yuan in remuneration to new employees, but since May, its income has increased to around 10,000 yuan, which is similar to Foxconn.

Luxshare Precision recently received Apple’s first “iPhone 13” related order, and the commission for recommending employees quickly doubled. It also provided a bonus of about 3,800 yuan for workers returning from other companies to Luxshare.
