Israel reopens its borders to international travelers and eliminates the need to carry out the antigen test before departure and the molecular test upon arrival. From next Saturday stop the anti Covid 19 tests while the masks will be worn on board international flights but only until Monday 23 May. However, the obligation to complete the entry form provided by the Ministry of Health remains in force to enter Israel, by air or sea. These decisions were made in the face of a slow and substantial increase in inbound tourism to Israel. 207,400 tourist arrivals were registered in April 2022 (compared to 30,200 in April 2021 and 405,000 in April 2019). Of these 5,000 tourists arrived from Italy, confirming the resumption of the tourism trend towards Israel with a significant increase compared to April 2021 and a decrease of 49% compared to April 2019.
