Italia Independent has decided to immediately suspend the distribution of its Italia Independent, Laps, CR7 eyewear and Hublot brands in the Russian territory. The indication came directly from the president of the group, Lapo Elkann, as a sign of full and total solidarity with the Ukrainian people. The suspension of the distribution activity concerns the interruption of relations with the Russian distribution company which holds the territorial exclusivity for the company’s brands.
“The decision to suspend any commercial relationship with Russia derives from the desire to give substance to my personal and Italia Independent’s closeness to the Ukrainian people. Furthermore, with the LAPS Foundation, a non-profit organization that I founded and of which I am President, I have already activated myself to provide assistance and support to refugees forced by the conflict to leave their country. I hope from the bottom of my heart that Peace will soon return ”said Lapo Elkann, founder and President of Italia Independent.
