The turnover of the Italian industry grows slightly. According to data released today by Istat, in September it is estimated that industry turnover, net of seasonal factors, rose by 0.1% compared to August. The growth is determined by the positive trend of the foreign component (+ 0.2%), while among the sectors the increase in energy stands out above all (+ 5.5%). Adjusted for calendar effects, total turnover increased in trend terms by 15.2% (+ 17.0% on the domestic market and + 11.6% on the foreign market). In the trend comparison, the increase is spread to all the main groups of industries, with more sustained increases for energy and intermediate goods.
