JPMorgan bought a platform to make sustainable investments. This is OpenInvest, a San Francisco startup, and represents the third acquisition made since December by the American giant in the field of Fintech.

JPMorgan thus wants to take ESG investments to the next level, giving clients the ability to create highly personalized and very dynamic portfolios. Offering investors a more attractive solution than simply allocating their capital to green investment funds.

Therefore the operation will have both the objective of satisfying the needs of customers increasingly attentive to the social, environmental and governance impacts of their investments and to somehow counter the advance of the ruthless competition of Big Tech and Fintech in financial industry.
