“Let’s put the ideas in order”: four meetings in Novara together with the doctors and open to all

“… After” is the title. A word that encompasses a universe: it opens before each of us with the pandemic almost behind us, wars near and far, a daily life that we all try to recover, make acceptable and even improve. That word was chosen by the Order of Doctors in Novara to propose four meetings with professionals and experts of national importance: today, Tuesday 2 March, the previews at Palazzo Cabrino.

The philosopher, anthropologist and researcher Fabio Gabrielli will inaugurate the review “Let’s put ideas in order 8.0” (eighth edition) on the 16th starting at 9 pm at the Faraggiana theater which this year will also host the other events.

“We share messages and knowledge”

The president of the Order of doctors, Federico D’Andrea, and Francesco Bonomo, contact person for cultural and scientific initiatives, invite everyone to participate “because from the beginning the goal was for us to involve the community, fellow citizens . people who wish to hear qualified voices also on unusual and original themes ». Mayor Alessandro Canelli praised the aim of “transmitting messages, relevant content in an understandable and compelling way even to non-professionals, indeed precisely to bring health professionals or other areas closer to those who do not normally deal with those topics”.

Travel as a way of being

After Gabrielli, who will deepen on human relations, Simona Tedesco, long-time journalist, editor of “Dove” will arrive on 20 April and the theme of the evening will be the journey, the holiday “intended not only as entertainment, as moments of emptiness but in the dimension of enrichment, way of being and not motion to place. We will also talk about the metaverse that will become a new dimension of ours, it will revolutionize life as it happened with the advent of TV and the digital world ”Bonomo underlined.

Economics and medicine in search of the future

On May 18 it will be the turn of Carlo Cottarelli, an economist who is known both for his prestigious national and international positions in the sector and because often a part of the world of politics has looked to him as a point of reference, an authoritative voice, to overcome difficult times. in these last years. Finally, on June 15, Professor Gian Carlo Avanzi, rector of the Eastern Piedmont University and «man of health and science will speak. We will understand how the life of the university has changed and could change, with the harsh experience of the pandemic but also on other fronts. For example, to understand what the new generations of doctors expect in a world, ours, which has become very problematic ». A point on which the Order has often intervened and which concerns, with a domino effect, citizens, patients, family members, other professions and categories.

“We are looking for solutions and answers”

“If many doctors choose to retire as soon as they can, while until a few years ago it was the opposite, and if there is a lack of reinforcements and new recruits – concluded D’Andrea – we must all face this situation together so that our collective” after “, in the reality in which we live every day, it is not studded with increasing difficulties but with opportunities, improvements, also in light of the funds of the NRP and of the society that changes faster and faster but also showed extremely weak sides during the pandemic. These meetings, from the original and far-sighted idea of my colleague Bonomo, can give us useful, if not surprising, ideas to share and implement. The success of the previous editions encourages us to resume the journey and we are waiting for both our hard core of loyalists and new participants ».
