Lutech: “With a new partner Apax, we aim for approximately 1 billion in revenues by 2024”

by admin

We are very positive, for us 2021 is an extraordinary year; we start with a new partner, we see an exit from this dramatic period and to facilitate and maintain some of the benefits of smart working we will change location. In September, in fact, we will move from Cologno Monzese to Cinisello Balsamo to the new headquarters completely renovated and designed for a new way of working. From the point of view of the accounts, 2021 is going well, we have had a growing quarter. There is still attention, we are proceeding with lead feet, but also a great desire to restart with investments, we expect in the second half to begin to see some effects of the Recovery. For the current year, the goal is to recover what was lost in 2020, bringing us a little above the values achieved last year and recovering much more on digital services, a trend we are already experiencing. The goal, net of Recovery, is to grow by around 3-4 percent.

What about the 2024 plan?

Between now and 2024 we have a dual target: on the one hand, we focus on organic growth, achieved with our own strength, with the aim of reaching 580 million in turnover. On the other hand, we expect to continue, albeit to a lesser extent, the acquisitions, given that the Italian market has consolidation potential. The goal, including the contribution of the acquisitions, is to get as close as possible to the billion euros in revenues, placing the company among the top three in Italy, with Engineering and Reply.

Have you also thought about the quotation hypothesis?

It will be one of the possible options, we will evaluate it on the basis of the receptivity of the capital market, even if for the moment the problem does not arise. The Apax fund has just entered, we’ll talk about it in three or four years.
