For the workers of Luxottica in the year of the pandemic comes a prize that even goes beyond the expectations of the unions. Filctem Cgil, Femca Cisl, Uiltec Uil have in fact signed an agreement with the company on the final result bonus which takes into account the critical issues of this year, especially for the absences chapter, and enhances welfare. The result is that the maximum level can reach 2,700 euros.
The bonus, as the unions explain, was defined through the consolidated financial statement indicator of the Essilor – Luxottica group: a basic component equal for all workers, equal to 1,420 euros, is accompanied by a component linked to individual performance, assessed on the count. attendance and a component linked to length of service and presence in positive flexibility. For absences, only those of the period May-December 2020 will be counted and all absences due to Covid-19, quarantine, precautionary removal requested by the company and redundancy fund will be subtracted from the count. The days of parental leave will also be considered as days of presence, in order to protect the most fragile subjects.

The bonus will be deducted on the basis of the improvement of the ‘gate’ indicators provided for by the supplementary contract and an increase of 30% will be recognized, exceptionally, on the amount of the 2020 bonus which will be converted into welfare. This means that a worker who reaches the maximum level of the bonus and wants to convert it into welfare will get a total bonus of more than 2,700 euros.
