Alessandro Bernini is the new CEO of Maire Tecnimont replacing Pierroberto Folgiero (indicated yesterday by Cdp as future CEO of Fincantieri). The board of directors of Maire Tecnimont, taking note of Folgiero’s resignation from the positions of director, chief executive officer and general manager of the company, with effect from May 15, 2022, and the unwillingness to accept the office of Alessandra Conte, co-opted as new non-independent director of the company Alessandro Bernini, former group chief financial officer of the company since 2013, appointing him as the new CEO and general manager of Maire Tecnimont.
The board also conferred executive powers on Alessandro Bernini for the management and coordination of the group’s activities. The board resolutions will be effective from May 15, 2022. Bernini will remain in office until the next shareholders’ meeting of the company. To date, the note concludes, Alessandro Bernini holds 208,654 ordinary shares, with no par value, of Maire Tecnimont.
