The debut of the new Maserati Grecale is approaching. By 2021 the new SUV of the Tridente brand will be presented in an official capacity, after the many sightings on the road and the exclusive test drive made by Carlos Tavares himself. In fact, the CEO of the Stellantis group wanted to drive the new Grecale, an SUV with more compact dimensions than the Levante and characterized by driving dynamics ready to become a reference in the segment. The new Maserati Grecale will also arrive in a hybrid version and most likely in an electric version.

Expected on the market in 2021, the new Maserati Grecale was shown for the first time in 2020 on the occasion of a visit to the Maserati Lab, the development center for all the new Trident models including the brand new MC20 super sports car. Returning to the Grecale, it will be a segment D SUV (i.e. shorter than the Levante and with an approximate length of 4.75) that will compete with models such as the Porsche Macan. In terms of engines, thermal units will arrive, with expected powers exceeding 500 horsepower and of course also electrified and electric versions.

John Elkann and Carlos Tavares, respectively President and CEO of Stellantis, visited the historic Maserati factory in Via Ciro Menotti in Modena. Elkann and Tavares met Davide Grasso, CEO of Maserati and together they visited the new production line of the MC20 super sports car, the new paint shop and the new Nettuno Engine Lab. Carlos Tavares also visited the Maserati Innovation Lab in Via Emilia Ovest in Modena . Concluding the day in Maserati, Tavares finally tested a prototype of the new Grecale on the Modenese roads.
