From the Consob communications relating to significant shareholdings, it emerged that on 20 August 2021 the entrepreneur
Francesco Gaetano Caltagirone held a potential indirect stake in the capital of Mediobanca equal to 4.953%, including voting rights attributable to shares equal to 3.003% of the capital and 1.95% which refers to other long positions.
At the end of July, again on the basis of Consob communications, it emerged that Caltagirone had increased its stake in Piazzetta Cuccia from 1% at the beginning of March to 2.88%; to the shareholding was added a stake in options, which raised the overall stake of the entrepreneur in Mediobanca, beyond the threshold of 5%, to an aggregate 5.056%, of which 2.063% in financial instruments.
At 15.05 Italian time, Mediobanca shares rose by 0.37% in Piazza Affari.
