Mediobanca, Del Vecchio rises to 19 percent and touches the ceiling set by the ECB

MILANO – Ten months after the ECB’s authorization to join Mediobanca, Leonardo Del Vecchio increases his share reaching almost a fifth of the capital of the first Italian investment bank.

Through the financial company Delfin, the founder of Luxottica announced that he had acquired 31 million shares, equal to 3.5% of the capital of piazzetta Cuccia, thus reaching almost 19% of the capital.
