March 26, news,Midea Group announced on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange that, after evaluation, the acquisition price of KUKA Aktiengesellschaft (hereinafter referred to as “KUKA”) was 80.77 euros per share, and the total purchase price was 150.5225 million euros.KUKA plans to hold its annual general meeting on May 17, 2022 to review matters related to the acquisition.

On November 24, Midea Group disclosed the “Voluntary Information Disclosure Announcement on the Comprehensive Acquisition of KUKA Aktiengesellschaft’s Equity and Privatization”, and the company plans to fully acquire KUKA’s equity and privatize it through a wholly-owned subsidiary.
The announcement shows that the main body of this acquisition is Guangdong Midea Electric Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Midea Electric”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Midea Group. Midea Electric has obtained the Guangdong Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Guangdong Provincial Department of Commerce respectively the overseas investment filing documents involved in this acquisition.
