“We are awaiting the opinion of Navip (Nucleus of analysis and evaluation of public investments), but if it were to be negative, the Province of Trento is ready to invest up to 45 million, including the 12 million already foreseen”, declared the president of the Autonomous Province of Trento, Maurizio Fugatti, on the sidelines of the renewal of the memorandum of understanding with Coni, regarding the project for the Ice Rink in Baselga di Pinè. According to rumors, the Navip would be oriented to provide a negative opinion on the project presented by Fincantieri for a structure worth 180 million. The president of Coni Giovanni Malagò, for his part, he defended the choice of Baselga di Pinè as a skating venue: «Otherwise – he clarified – we would have had to build a new structure in a metropolitan city.
