Piazza Affari closed in positive territory, despite the uncertainty about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The American Disease Control Authorities (CDC) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) have decided to temporarily suspend the use of the vaccine after finding some rare cases of thrombosis. The US group has thus decided to postpone the launch of the vaccine in Europe. Just today in Italy the first doses arrived. The attention of operators also turned to the inflation data in the United States which in March jumped to 2.6% on an annual basis, slightly above the expectations of analysts at 2.5%. Meanwhile, the expectation is rising for the start of the earnings season in the United States, with big banks in the foreground in the coming days.

The Ftse Mib index nevertheless continued undisturbed above par, closing with an increase of 0.59% at 24,600.35 points. With this performance it was the best price list in Europe. Among the securities in the main basket, Amplifon stood out, which collected + 6.9%, exceeding the 35 euro threshold, thanks to the improvement in the outlook to stable by S&P, which also confirmed its BB + rating. Purchases also on Campari, up by 3 percentage points, followed by Interpump with + 2.8%.

On the other hand, it fell to the bottom of the DiaSorin list with -1.3%. Since the first exchanges, the group from Saluggia has moved weakly, catching its breath from the rally of the eve triggered with the acquisition of the American Luminex Corporation. Also bad was Azimut and Banca Mediolanum, which left 1% and 0.9% respectively on the parterre.
