Strong sales on the Moderna stock dropped over 4% at the start of the day on Wall Street after 1 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were withdrawn from circulation in Japan due to contamination problems. A first stop for 1.63 million doses occurred last week after the discovery of foreign substances in some batches, with contamination now linked to two deaths. Spanish pharmaceutical company Rovi, which handles the packing of Moderna vaccines for markets outside the United States, said the contamination could be due to a problem on a production line.
