Who gets scared first? The oil game – which, since the beginning of the invasion in Ukraine has prompted Europe to pour 20 billion dollars into the Kremlin’s coffers – increasingly resembles a session of “chicken game”, in which the winner is the one who is convinced that he is in a better position than the opponent. Here it is Putin who has oil and Europe who needs it, but it is also true that Putin does not know who to sell it to, if not to Europe.
