Mps: agreement with Foundation finalized, pre-emption on Rocca Salimbeni property

Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena (Mps) have finalized the agreement – already previously communicated in its essential lines – for the settlement of all disputes that have arisen between the parties. “As a result of the agreement, the Monte dei Paschi di Siena Foundation will obtain, among other things, the payment of 150 million euros and commitments on the enhancement of the bank’s artistic heritage and on the destination of the Rocca Salimbeni property, on which a pre-emption in favor of the Foundation “, reads a note from the Sienese bank.
