Msc Cociere also resumes operations in Spain

by admin

From next June 26, the companions MSC Cruises will resume operations in Spain with the flagship MSC Grandiosa, which will make a weekly stop in Barcelona; and from 30 July Valencia will be included again among the destinations. The decision follows the Company’s recent announcements about the restart in Germany, France and the Baltic countries, destinations that have been added to the itineraries already operational in the Mediterranean and in the United Kingdom.

Gianni Onorato, Chief Executive Officer of MSC Cruises: “When we announced the programs for summer 2021, we emphasized that we would from time to time enrich them with new destinations, as soon as they became available. This is precisely the case in Spain, with Barcelona adding to the destinations that our guests can return to visit in complete safety thanks to the protected shore excursions provided for by our health and safety protocol. This new destination makes cruises available to our guests living in Spain who, for the first time, will be able to board the flagship MSC Grandiosa, one of our most modern and innovative ships. As restrictive measures are gradually loosening throughout Europe, we are very confident that we will be able to continue to progressively resume activities in new ports and destinations, enriching existing itineraries or adding new ones ”.

MSC Grandiosa offers seven-night cruises in the Western Mediterranean with stops in Genoa, Civitavecchia, Naples, Palermo, Valletta in Malta and, from 26 June, also Barcelona every Saturday. Furthermore, starting from July 30th, MSC Grandiosa will modify the itinerary by adding Valencia on Friday and touching Barcelona, Genoa, La Spezia and Civitavecchia.

Furthermore, at the end of July, MSC Seashore, the largest and most technologically advanced cruise ship ever built in Italy, will enter the fleet. The new MSC flagship will offer cruises in the Western Mediterranean.
