Musk sets a new goal: build a Tesla factory on Mars before his death-People-Elon Musk

by admin

In 2018, Tesla CEO Elon Musk successfully sent a Tesla supercar to space. And now, he has set a new goal. According to foreign media reports, at Tesla’s 2021 shareholders meeting in Austin, Texas, Musk told reporters about his new goal.

Musk’s new goal is to use his SpaceX (Space Exploration Technology Company) to build a city of 1 million inhabitants on Mars by 2050 and build a Tesla factory there.

Musk said,Tesla’s first alien factory may be waiting for many years. Although I don’t know what it will develop in the next 40 years, I hope to see it on Mars before I die.

In addition, Musk also said that as Tesla’s factories in Austin and Berlin are built and run together with factories in Fremont, California and Shanghai, new factories may be built.

Musk pointed out that although Tesla’s four existing auto manufacturing plants are still able to further expand production, the most important thing is to have production in every continent covering its main markets, making car transportation more convenient. An investigation will be carried out next year, and a decision on whether to build a new factory may be made in 2023.

It is worth mentioning that Musk seems to be very obsessed with Mars.In April of this year, he not only added the title of “Imperator of Mars” to his social media profiles. Subsequently, it also plans to sell most of the real estate to fund its own Martian immigration plan, hoping to send 1 million people to Mars in 2050.
