UBS would have identified the former CEO of UniCredit, Jean Pierre Mustier, as a possible successor to the president Axel Weber whose mandate expires in 2022. This is the indiscretion reported today by the agency to Reuters.
The board of the largest Swiss bank is expected to meet by the end of the year and Mustier would be on the shortlist of candidates for the role of future president.
