That is, before December 31, 2022, if both husband and wife pay the housing provident fund, the maximum loan amount will be increased from 800,000 yuan to 900,000 yuan. From January 1, 2023, after the restoration of the original maximum loan amount of the provident fund in Quanzhou City (600,000 yuan for dual employees and 400,000 yuan for single employees), the maximum loan amount for dual-employee families with two or three children will be correspondingly increased from 600,000 yuan to 700,000 yuan , the maximum loan amount for a single employee has been increased from 400,000 yuan to 500,000 yuan.

Earlier on May 10, the Quanzhou Housing Provident Fund Management Center issued a “Notice” clarified that it is allowed to withdraw provident funds to pay the down payment. Anyone who purchases newly built commercial housing in the administrative area of Quanzhou City, the purchasers (including co-owners), spouses and lineal blood relatives can withdraw the housing provident fund to pay the down payment for the purchase of the house, further reducing the pressure of paying the down payment and making it convenient for employees to buy new commercial housing.
