OpenAI has moved into a four-story, 59,000-square-foot headquarters in San Francisco’s Mission District.
The office, completed in February, offers all the amenities one would expect from one of the world‘s best-known AI start-ups.
This comes at a time when OpenAI is looking to expand its overseas presence with an office in London.
Open AI has had a good year, securing a $10 billion investment from Microsoft, completing a $495 million stock sale that leaves the company with more than $27 billion Dollars (around 25 billion euros) and its chatbot ChatGPT has captivated the world.
It’s only fitting that OpenAI has a headquarters worthy of its status as the forerunner of the new AI revolution. But the company has kept details about its headquarters in San Francisco, United States, top secret. A reporter from the San Francisco Standard attempted to tour the offices and made it to the lobby before being escorted out. A reporter from Business Insider was even less successful. He was turned away over an intercom by a security guard who refused to confirm or deny the existence of an OpenAI office at that location.
