1. U.S. stocks

The three major US stock indexes closed up. The Nasdaq rose 1.25% to 14,433.83 points; the S&P 500 index rose 1.05% to 4,345.72 points; the Dow rose 0.92% to 34,314.67 points. The Nasdaq 100 index rose 1.4%, the largest increase since August. Bitcoin has returned to $50,000 per coin. Blockchain concept stocks have risen sharply. The number of bitcoin has risen by more than 36%, and the ninth city has risen by nearly 12%. Most of the large technology stocks rose, Netflix rose more than 5%, setting a new closing high; Nvidia rose more than 3.6%; Microsoft rose 2.0%, and Apple rose more than 1%. Bank stocks rose across the board, Goldman Sachs rose more than 3%, Bank of America rose more than 2%. Energy stocks were mixed, Schlumberger fell nearly 1%, and Occidental Petroleum rose more than 3%.

2. European stocks

Major European stock indexes closed up collectively. The German DAX30 index rose 1.05% to 15194.49 points; the British FTSE 100 index rose 0.94% to 7,07.10 points; the French CAC40 index rose 1.52% to 6,576.28 points.

3.Gold

The most active December gold futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange gold futures market on the 5th fell 6.7 US dollars from the previous trading day to close at 1760.9 US dollars per ounce, a decrease of 0.38%.

4. Petroleum

WTI November crude oil futures closed up 1.31 US dollars, or 1.69%, to 78.93 US dollars per barrel. Brent December crude oil futures closed up 1.30 US dollars, or 1.60%, to 82.56 US dollars per barrel.
