Alibaba’s sexual assault occurred in early August. On Alibaba’s internal webpage, a female employee published an 11-page complaint, accusing her of being forced to accompany her on an official business trip to Jinan, Shandong Province on July 27. But the female employee complained to Alibaba Group within five days that her superiors and human resources department did not take the matter seriously.
