Permira buys Kedrion, a leading company in the plasma sector. Old partners reinvest

MILANO – Kedrion, a historic Tuscan company active in the pharmaceutical and now specialized in the sector of plasma and derivatives, changes hands. To buy is the private equity fund, Permira, supported by its co-investor in the various investment vehicles Abu Dhabi Investment Authority. To sell, the family Marcucci (51%), who founded the group (one of the brothers, the senator Andrea, has a strong relationship with Matteo Renzi but has remained in the Pd) il group Italian strategic fund (24,1%) e Cdp equity (25,06%).
