A drop of 7.4% to € 2.89 for the Piaggio stock after the disclosure of the accounts as at 30 September. The Vespa group reported a net profit of 51.6 million euros in the first 9 months of the year, + 77.1% from the 29.1 of a year ago and Ebitda of 192.9 million ( + 28.5% y / y).
The profit is slightly lower than the 54 million expected from Equita.
From January to September, revenues also showed marked growth, reaching 1,319.2 million euros, the best result in the period since 2007 and showing an increase of 32.7% compared to the 993.8 million reported a year ago. In the period under review, the Piaggio group sold 430,600 vehicles worldwide, up 21.7% compared to 353,900 vehicles a year ago.
