Piaggio Fast Forward (PFF), a robotics company of the Piaggio group, today announced the development of its new sensor technology intended to be implemented on robots for domestic and industrial use, as well as on scooters and motorcycles. PFF has entered into a contract with Vayyar Imaging for the supply of Radar-on-Chip, thus developing an innovative sensor package and the first ARAS (Advanced Rider Assistance Systems) safety platform. The PFF robots that integrate this radar technology will be presented at the end of 2021, while the motorcycles of the Piaggio group equipped with this innovative sensor will arrive on the market in 2022.
