Piazza Affari is also very good today. The report on the US labor market, which grew more than expected, gave further assistance to the stock exchanges. In October, the United States saw 531,000 new jobs, better than the 425,000-450,000 growth expected by analyst consensus. The September figure was revised upwards from +194,000 to +312,000 units. The payrolls for August have also been revised upwards from the increase of +366,000 initially disclosed to +483,000 units.

At Piazza Affari, the Ftse Mib index updates its maximums over 13 years, marking + 1% at 27,795 points. Among the blue chips, today the spotlight is on Banco BPM (+ 5.03% to € 2.90) with the new business plan to 2024 which sees profits rise to 1 billion at the end of the plan (CAGR of + 33.4% between 2020 and 2024), corresponding to a RoTE> 9% by 2024. The bank led by Giuseppe Castagna expects a 40% dividend payout over the plan. Banco BPM reported a third quarter net profit of € 110.7 million, above consensus estimates.

Among the banks, Intesa jumped by 1.1%, while Bper recorded + 2.17% pending the arrival of accounts in closed markets.

Very good also today STM (+ 1.52% to 44.06 euros) after yesterday the American Qualcomm jumped by 12.73% after the better than expected forecasts for the current quarter. The rise of Ferrari continues (+ 2.28% to € 228.8) which updates the all-time highs.

Also up for TIM (+ 4.76% to € 0.3412) which continues to ride the rumors that see the telecommunications open to the possibility of ceding control of the network to relaunch the agreement to reach the single network with Open Fiber. TIM specified that the corporate structures relating to the single network have not been discussed by the Board of Directors nor have any decisions been made in this regard.
