Poste Italiane: double-digit growth in profits and revenues in the second quarter

Double-digit growth results for Poste Italiane which in the second quarter of the year reported revenues of € 2.8 billion, up by 19% compared to the corresponding period of 2020, thanks to the recovery of the correspondence business which is added to parcel growth, while insurance and payments and mobile services are steadily rising. The operating result (Ebit) stood at 429 million, showing an increase of 32%, supported by the growth in correspondence and parcels and card payments. Net profit thus rose by 36% to 326 million.
